Pinhole are a quirky Cork-based band, brandishing the “alternative” flag but deliberately skating over genre boundaries with the result that they stand alone in their unique sound. At the outbreak of Covid they were on the verge of releasing their debut album and their song “Better Than One” was RTE single of the week. The subsequent album launch and Irish/UK tour was cancelled. Their first EP “Between the Babies and the Birds” was played extensively on 2FM, Today FM and Newstalk. They have appeared on the infamous Other Voices TV series. Their tangential approach to song writing has been likened to being “in a dark fairytale”. It is refreshingly new and addressing topical issues. From delicate melodies to raw mayhem, they take you on a roller coaster journey of the senses. They have been likened to a reinvented Kate Bush, PJ Harvey, Bat for Lashes and Portishead to name a few…
